Mike McGlone, senior commodity strategist of Bloomberg Intelligence, said in his December 2020 crypto outlook that if previous records are smashed (as did happen afterwards, in December 2020) he believes a $1 trillion market cap is reached by 2022 which would result in a price of about $47,000 per coin. "Bitcoin has a history of adding zeros", he said.
