Many newly sprung up crypto businesses do not adhere to the strictly decentralised philosophy as bitcoin itself, they are exposed to become subject to regulation by the EU, the SEC or FATF. This could work to the detriment of privacy coins like Monero or Zcash.

The heavy cost of regulation may render the cost of listing these coins uneconomical and some crypo exchanges may chose to delist them.
