T

Trade transaction: Short and long transactions initiated by the user.

S

Settlement transaction: Once a result proposal for a question has been supported (and voted for) the system automatically settles all trades. Accurate predictions pay one credit for each share. Inaccurate predictions loose their invested credits, or in technical language, pay zero credits upon settlement.

R

Reversal transaction: A result proposal specifies a cut off time. The system automatically reverses all later transactions in the respective answers to prevent cheating.

M

Market valuation: For every open position of a user, the system shows a final line with its value at current prediction market prices. This is not a transaction just a temporary line, for information only.

O

Opening valuation: When an incentive period starts, the market value of traders' initial open position is recorded. This is not a transaction, just an auxiliary line for incentive calculation purposes.

C

Closing valuation: When an incentive period ends, the market value of traders' remaining open position is recorded. This is not a transaction, just an auxiliary line for incentive calculation purposes.
