How to enter incentivised questions or surveys on Prediki

Register

If you want to participate actively on Prediki, you can register with your email or a social media account. You can then already see some public questions which anybody can access for training purposes.

By invitation only

Did you receive an invitation link to a confidential question or a predictive survey? Then you can unlock incentivised questions and get money or in-kind prizes for good predictions.

Confidentiality

First confirm that you will treat all information as confidential. Ten you will see the question overview.

  1. Consider all questions in context.
  2. On the top right you can see the incentive for good predictions.
  3. Then click the blue "Start" button above.

Review information

  1. Look through the text, pictures, or videos in the questions's wiki section and consider other participants' comments.
  2. Confirm the judgement rule which specifies precisely how a prediction will count as "right or wrong.

Trade answers

  1. You can invest up to 10,000 credits in each question "long" or "short", i.e. "for" or "against" answer options.
  2. If you reconsider later, you can always change your trades later.
  3. Whenever a participant trades, the market prices for all others will change instantly.

Rate comments

  1. Study other participants' comments.
  2. If you agree you can rate them with "+", or disagree with "-".
  3. If another participant agrees with your comment, you get 100 credits for your trading account.
  4. If somebody disagrees, the system deducts -100 credits however never more than you received in first place.

Your own comments

  1. Post your own comments or reply to others.
  2. If you can convince others, market prices will more in your favour and your rank rises.
  3. Attention though: in the end, only the real result will count and the ranking can change completely.

Ranking and valuation

  1. Most questions will be judged by the real final result.
    1. For correct trades you will receive one credit for each share.
    2. However, for wrong predictions you will lose your invested credits.
  2. For conditional questions there is no real result. Conditional questions will be closed when the condition can no longer reasonably be expected to occur. Settlement is at the last market prices before closing.
