    Question
Can suicide prevention ads help decrease suicide rates on railways?
    Judgement rule
Video recordings from train stations have shown that in all suicide cases people are spending up to 25 minutes at the platforms before committing suicide. This time is critical and it is presumed that placing advertisements of hotlines will help target people having suicidal thoughts and offering them a chance to get specialised help. However, making advertisements too visible might encourage unnecessary associations among the people who do not possess such thoughts. Therefore a possible solution might be placing the advertisements discreetly when they only become visible to people at the edge.
